The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) at Queen Mary University of London is pleased to announce the details of our annual seminar series ‘New Voices in Commercial Law’ (NVCL). This series takes place several times during the academic year in London and Paris.

The topic for Thursday, 3 March 2016, is 'Current Issues in Insurance Law and Regulation'. The first session starts at 5.00pm.

Speaker 1: Katie Richards (Lecturer; PhD candidate, Cardiff Law School): 'Deterring insurance fraud: less law, more norms?'

Speaker 2: Franziska Arnold-Dwyer (PhD Candidate, Insurance Law Institute, CCLS, QMUL; Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales): 'A doctrine of insurable interest for the 21st century'

Attendance is free of charge for CCLS and other students and academic staff. Please register with your academic email address.
